full thirty5 FAQ

full35

WHAT?

Full screen. Full motion. Full audio. Full audience. full thirty5. Like a ‘coming soon’ film trailer, full thirty5 ads are presented on-screen in full frame 35mm immediately preceding the feature film. Although some campaigns are as short as 5 seconds, longer soft-sell ads of 60 to 90 seconds are ideal to the cinema environment, and play well to the captive, relaxed audience. We make every effort to cap the total number of concurrent ads at three, which is a major departure from the larger chains such as Cineplex. The full thirty5 approach is intended to maximize impact and minimize dilution and moviegoer burnout. AdFilms Ltd. reserves the final right of content approval.

WHERE?

AdFilms Ltd. exclusively represents 75 screens in Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan, representing more than 225,000 impressions per month, and delivering supplemental primary market and blanket secondary market coverage so critical to national ad campaigns and/or in-depth regional initiatives. Our growing network is listed here.

We will work with clients to achieve the best results, even if that means advertising at only one location. Best bang for the buck, however, dictates utilizing numerous locations. We can also piggyback on national and regional Cineplex Media campaigns.

WHO?

Demographics suggest that movie audiences skew younger, with the most loyal moviegoers under the age of 30, and the most frequent patrons between 16 and 25. That would explain why the cinema screens have long been a favourite medium for compact cars, mobile phones, and government PSA’s geared toward younger audiences.

We also represent Canada’s only drive-in merchandising network, found at ozoners.net. Because drive-ins cater to a different young familyaudience than do indoor theatres, we have decided to separate the brand. If you’re looking for unique summer branding program, try a drive-in theatre.

WHEN?

full thirty5 campaigns run a minimum of 4 weeks. Contracts must be signed and post-production flat and scope elements (35mm inter-negatives & optical tracks) must be supplied at least one month in advance.

HOW MUCH?

Our rate card provides media rates. Ask about our volume discounts. If initial digital to film elements conversion is required, we can outsource that for an additional cost.
